Meet Our Management Team

Chris Locher – Managing Director

Chris has worked in the industry since 1988, where he soon settled into his current position as export manager. In addition to helping his clients through trucker's strikes, longshoreman's strikes, port foreman strikes, tug boat captain strikes, railway strikes, and disruptions caused by the Kobe earthquake and Sendai tsunami, he has remained an active member of the BCTA Intermodal Container Committee, as well as Port Metro Vancouver's GPS Working Group. In addition to all this, he still finds time to ski, mountain bike, and act as both president and coach of his son's local Lacrosse Association.

Greg Locher – Managing Director

Greg has worked in the Industry for over 25 years. He gained a wealth of experience managing the Vancouver Airport office, and running LEI’s Sea/Air program over the last 15 years. Having begun his career at LEI working the Westcon Warehouse facility as a teenager, Greg has gained knowledge and experience from the ground up.

PETER BROERKEN – GROUP CONTROLLER

Peter is a Director and Controller of the LEI Group. He joined LEI in 1992 and is responsible for the LEI Group administrative and financial affairs. Prior to joining LEI he worked as senior accountant for a local Chartered Accounting firm where he obtained is CA designation in 1990.

Kelli Killoran-Yeh – Vice President, LEI Customs Brokers Inc.

Kelli began her career in Toronto in 1994 as a junior rater and went on to receive her Qualified Customs Brokers status from Revenue Canada in 1995. She joined LEI Customs Brokers in October of 1995 as a rater and later moved to a supervisory position.  She was promoted to Customs Manager in 2001.  Kelli received her Certified Customs Specialist status with the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers in 2003. With many years of experience in all modes of customs clearance, audit, finance and management, Kelli went on to receive her professional status from the Canada Border Services Agency in 2012.

Farideh MacRae – Project Manager

With over 25 years of freight forwarding and project management experience, Farideh has the expertise and the industry connections needed to manage large-scale projects. She had worked as an instructor of transportation logistics at BCIT, and has served in advisory capacities for many transport associations. Having worked extensively with major mining and energy companies operating in remote areas all over Canada and abroad, she is well suited to handle the challenges involved with projects of any scope.

PATTY LISOWICK - branch manager, winnipeg

Patty joined the LEI team in 1985  as a warehouse administrator and has steadily advanced to her current role as Winnipeg Branch manager. Prior to assuming the Branch manager role Patty was  Export Manager (both Air and Ocean) and assistant branch manager. In her personal time away from the office she manages a Winnipeg area junior hockey team.

TIM YAKEMCHUK – NATIONAL DIRECTOR OF WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS

Tim has over 17 years as a leader in the Supply Chain industry overseeing distribution, inventory management and all other operational roles. He has a vast knowledge in both 3PL and 4PL warehousing and is the first point of contact for all your warehousing needs. Tim started his professional career in the fine paper industry and joined LEI in 2018 in this newly created role, responsible for our multiple operations throughout Canada.

PHILLIP SUTHERLAND-MOORE - managing director, uk

Since beginning his journey within shipping in 2003 Phillip has built up a wealth of industry specific knowledge.

By starting at the bottom and working his way up, this means that Phil has a great understanding of how things tick at all levels, his experience and steady management style add value to our already excellent team in the UK and also helps to ensure that we continue to offer innovative and insightful solutions to our customers changing needs across our global network.

On top of his industry experience he is also PRINCE2 accredited.
